Every platform says it takes security seriously. Here are five questions that make the claim testable, with the answer you should insist on — and how Arteliox answers each one.
1. Can another customer ever see my data? A good answer names a mechanism, not a policy. In Arteliox, isolation is enforced by the database itself with row-level security: a query physically cannot return another studio's rows, so isolation doesn't depend on every line of application code being perfect.
2. How do my clients' files travel? If delivered files sit behind a public link, anyone with the URL has them forever. Arteliox files live in private storage and every download is served through a signed URL that expires within seconds — links can't be forwarded, scraped, or indexed.
3. What happens after a refund or dispute? The uncomfortable question. On Arteliox, a refund or dispute automatically re-locks the linked gallery, so access and payment never disagree.
4. Can you show me a record? When there's a disagreement, you need a timeline, not a support ticket. Arteliox keeps an append-only audit trail of every sensitive event — payments, unlocks, re-locks, download links, portal access — that no one can edit, including us.
5. Who holds my money? If the platform sits between you and your revenue, its problems become your problems. With Arteliox, your studio is the merchant of record on its own Stripe account; we never hold your funds.
Ask these five of any vendor — including us. The details live on our security page.
