How signed URLs keep client files private

When a studio delivers final images through Arteliox, those files never sit behind a public link. Every download is served through a signed URL — a temporary, cryptographically signed address that grants access to a single file for a short window and then expires.

That means a link can’t be forwarded, scraped, or indexed. Even if someone copies a URL, it stops working within seconds. The underlying file key is resolved on the server only after the request passes every check: a valid portal token, the client’s one-time passcode, the image belonging to the order, and the invoice being paid.

The result is delivery that feels effortless for your clients and stays private by construction — not by policy.
